Kids in Care 2: Going to the Children's Court

When DCJ place your child in out-of-home care, they have to apply to the Children’s Court for court orders. This booklet explains what will happen on the first day of court, what decisions will be made about your children, who will get parental responsibility during court proceedings, and explains terms like 'contact visits', 'establishment' and 'care plan'.
